| There has been a monarch butterfly fluttering around our front door all morning.
This afternoon, after picking up my sister, we were walking up the sidewalk and a few other butterflies had joined in the fluttering.
Right about the time I said, "look butterflies!" Hannah and I watched as one of them crashed in the gutter. haha.

| goodness it's been hot around here lately. now, i'm not and never have
been a huge fan of air-conditioning. this is mostly because i believe
it is overused in American. so much that when i go out in the heat in
summer i have to bring along a sweatshirt of something to put on every
time i go into a store (actually inside anywhere--my house included).
while i'm still not a huge fan of ac, i definitely (dear jessy, i used
to always misspell that, too, and on the same day i learned how to spell
ridiculous, i learned that it's not definately.) appreciate it.
meanwhile, winter is still going strong in alberta. hahaha.
